Clinical Quality Improvement Specialist

Vergence is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Quality Improvement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to improve hospital capacity and quality of care, particularly in pediatric emergency departments.
About the RoleIn this challenging position, you will be responsible for managing user accounts and security parameters for access to our web-based dashboard, as well as coordinating daily, surge, and crisis needs. You will also work closely with hospitals to collect necessary information for dashboard development and implementation, provide training and onboarding services, and facilitate data feeds per specifications supported by our web-based application.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and launching a capacity system that includes near-time bed capacity counts for acute care hospitals, including critical access hospitals.
- Managing user account and security parameters for access to the web-based dashboard to coordinate daily, surge, and crisis needs.
- Coordinating emergency department data, organized per NHSN definitions, to Hospital Capacity Data Store at least twice per day on an ongoing basis.
- Creating communications and training materials for onboarding identified stakeholders and hospital users.
To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and project management skills, as well as experience working with healthcare organizations and emergency departments. A strong understanding of quality improvement processes and pediatric emergency management principles is essential.
