Job Summary:

Universal Stainless & Alloy Products Inc. Dunkirk Specialty Steel is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and replace motor bearings
  • Maintain control panels, switches, and wiring
  • Maintain, inspect, and repair all breakers
  • Inspect transformers
  • Perform general electrical maintenance on assigned areas
  • Operate overhead cranes and/or fork trucks to move electrical supplies or equipment
  • Interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Perform electromechanical rebuilds of plant production equipment
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment and relocation of existing equipment
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area

Requirements:

  • Previous electrical experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
  • Two-year post-high school education (Vocational Technical School)
  • Passing score on the Ramsey RR47-A test or equivalent and applicable test stand
  • Ability to demonstrate electrical knowledge with a walk-through of prints
  • Working knowledge of basic mechanical and electrical principles

Compensation:

$24.95/hour
