KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Uphold Health and Safety as the top priority by adhering to all safe work practices, policies, and procedures, while acting in a safe manner.

Operate a minimum of two types of heavy machinery, including but not limited to 50/70 Barrel Vacuum and Single Roll-Off Trucks.

Ensure timely and safe deliveries.
Prepare Haz-Mat & Non-Haz manifests.
Maintain compliance with DOT, FMCSA, daily ELD logs, timesheets, and vehicle inspection reports.
Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of response vehicles and assigned trucks.
Carry out various housekeeping and custodial tasks as necessary.
Respond to 24/7 Emergency Response calls while on standby.
Be prepared to work extended hours and overtime, including shifts during days, nights, or weekends.
Other reasonable directives, responsibilities, and tasks may be assigned as needed.
Adhere to the Random Drug Testing Program.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

A high school diploma or equivalent is highly preferred.
A current California Class B Commercial Driver License is required.

Class A is preferred.
A driving record that meets company standards and a current DMV printout are required.
Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are mandatory.
40-hour HAZWOPER certification is required.
2 to 5 years of experience in heavy equipment operation is required.
1 to 5 years of experience in hazardous waste management and environmental services is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to pull/push 50 lbs. unassisted on a frequent basis.

Capable of twisting and turning with full range of motion in arms, hands, torso, neck, back, and legs regularly.

Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs. unassisted frequently.
Frequent typing/data entry required.

Equipment Utilized:
Industrial cleaning and heavy machinery
Exposure to various environmental temperatures and weather conditions.
