We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dental Support Professional to join our team at West Nashville Smiles Dentistry. As a key member of our dental team, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow with our experienced professionals.
Responsibilities- Assist licensed dentists with basic dental procedures, adhering to state regulations and guidelines.
- Participate in the Perfect Patient Experience by providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive treatment outcome.
- Develop expertise in infection control procedures, including sterilization and operatory cleaning and disinfection.
- Complete radiographs and intra-oral pictures under the direction of the dentist, following radiation safety protocols.
- Prepare patient care procedures, execute efficient patient care, and ensure a smooth handoff to the front desk.
- Provide patient education on postoperative and general oral health care, as directed by the dentist.
- Record patient charting and treatment notes in the digital patient chart, following dentist instructions.
- Support patient care by presenting treatment records, consents, and health history to the dentist prior to treatment.
- Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal, and other regulations, including OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, and HR policies.
- No prior dental experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
