Job Summary:

The COMSEC Security Manager will provide day-to-day support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities. This role requires a strong understanding of COMSEC requirements and procedures, including the acquisition, maintenance, operations and disposition of COMSEC equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct secure equipment inventories, inspections and other COMSEC related support and oversight functions.
  • Perform installation of secure telephone equipment and coordinate delivery of encryption devices and keying material to IT specialists.
  • Administer a Top Secret inventory and document control program to account for COMSEC equipment and materials.
  • Courier classified information and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with Air Force COMSEC standards by providing security education and training on operating procedures.
  • Verify Automated Information Systems Security requirements related to COMSEC duties are met.
  • Ensure proper physical security accreditation is issued for supported facilities.
  • Train personnel in COMSEC procedures and equipment usage.
  • Provide leadership, mentoring and quality assurance for team members.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years related experience.
  • 2+ SAP experience required.
Clearance:
  • TS/SCI required.
  • Will to submit to a Counterintelligence polygraph.
Travel:
  • 25% travel required.
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to perform regular moderate lifting (approximately 25–40 pounds).

GDIT is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates. The salary range for this position is $90,950 - $123,050, but salary will be set based on experience, location and contractual requirements.
