RS&H is on the lookout for a Lead 3D Visualization Specialist to enhance our Visualization team. This position is integral to our ongoing projects, where you will play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional 3D visual representations.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in producing high-caliber 3D visualizations, animations, and renderings tailored for architectural and engineering endeavors. This position demands a meticulous eye for detail, a fervor for design, and the capability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams to actualize concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop intricate 3D models and visualizations across various architecture, engineering, and construction projects.
  • Create photorealistic renderings and animations to bolster project presentations, proposals, and marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to grasp project requirements and deliver visual solutions that align with client expectations.
  • Employ industry-standard software (e.g., Autodesk 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, & After Effects) to generate superior visual content.
  • Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality benchmarks.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in 3D visualization technology and software.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior visualization artists, fostering their professional growth.
  • Ensure that quality and consistency align with project standards and specifications.
  • Maintain organized files, documentation, and version control for 3D assets and projects.
  • Resolve technical challenges related to 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, or animation.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to deliver comprehensive project updates.
  • Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines and deliverables while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in 3D modeling, shader development, lighting, rendering, and camera animation.
  • Comprehensive understanding of architectural and engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen sense of aesthetics and design principles.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Autodesk 3ds Max and V-Ray.
  • Advanced skills in post-production software such as Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in creating photorealistic visualizations and animations is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine for real-time rendering and interactive content is a plus.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a 3D visualization artist in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry is highly desirable.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in 3D Visualization or a related field is preferred.
