Materials Project Management Engineer

Job OverviewWe're seeking a highly organized and technically skilled Project Engineer to oversee the successful execution of projects from initiation through completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, ability to multitask, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, establish project teams, schedules, and budgets, and review order confirmations to ensure timely delivery.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project scope, timelines, and technical requirements.
- Budget and Timeline Management: Continuously monitor and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure the project remains on track and under budget.
- Technical Problem Solving: Proactively identify and solve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Multitasking and Prioritization: Balance multiple priorities, adjust plans as necessary, and manage shifting priorities to ensure the timely completion of projects.
- Risk Management: Anticipate potential risks, especially regarding on-time delivery, and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Safety and Quality Compliance: Ensure adherence to MTS safety processes and quality standards, maintaining a focus on delivering projects that meet or exceed contractual specifications.
- Communication and Accountability: Maintain clear and consistent communication with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are informed of project progress, challenges, and changes.
- Education: BS degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 15%, both domestically and internationally.
- Skills: Proficient in Excel, experience with SalesForce preferred.
- Collaboration and Adaptability: Strong collaborative and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to a changing work environment.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with a focus on clear, concise updates for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Risk Assessment and Revenue Forecasting: Ability to flex hours to work with global teams and proficient in risk assessment and revenue forecasting to ensure project success.
