The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently while adhering to all health and safety regulations. The primary objective is to ensure that all units, grounds, and communal areas are kept in optimal condition.

Compensation: The compensation package includes a significant discount for on-site housing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute make-ready tasks and address general service work orders efficiently.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the property to identify and report exterior maintenance needs.
  • Assist in the installation and repair of ventilation, refrigeration, and other essential systems.
  • Maintain heating and plumbing systems to guarantee operational efficiency.
  • Inspect and ensure the functionality of alarm systems (fire and protection).
  • Perform manual repairs as required (e.g., fixing locks, replacing windows).
  • Engage in pest control activities, including the application of insecticides.
  • Carry out general maintenance tasks such as landscaping, painting, and carpentry as assigned.
  • Fulfill on-call responsibilities as designated by the property manager.

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, drywall, and painting techniques.
  • Familiarity with general maintenance processes and methodologies.
  • Proficient in using tools and understanding common appliances and devices.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good physical condition and strength are essential.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Salary: $23 per hour
