About the Role:

ZephyrTech is seeking a highly skilled Senior Purchaser to join our team. As a Senior Purchaser, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing complex procurement processes, particularly EU tenders, while ensuring compliance with procurement law, legal requirements, internal guidelines, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cross-functional category strategies, supporting the creation and further development of procurement processes.
  • Consult and coordinate with internal customers and process participants to optimize procurement processes, determine procurement strategies, and tactics.
  • Review performance specifications, process amendments, and serve as the point of contact during the contract period, particularly in case of contract disruptions.
  • Conduct comprehensive, long-term, and structured needs and procurement planning.
  • Identify and ensure the realization of potential savings, standardization, and optimization.
  • Oversee supplier evaluations and annual discussions with strategically relevant suppliers.
  • Minimize risks in the procurement process.

Requirements:

  • Completed technical or university degree with a focus on engineering and relevant professional experience.
  • Good knowledge of the Sector Regulation (SektVO), the Act against Restraints of Competition (GWB), and other relevant legal regulations, especially the VOB and VOL.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
