About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a member of our Department of Pediatrics, Section of Gastroenterology, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ambulatory and inpatient care for children with gastrointestinal disorders, including consultative services and general GI procedures.
  • Supervise and educate medical students, residents, and fellows in Gastroenterology, and participate in the development of clinical research projects.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for children with complex gastrointestinal conditions.
Requirements
  • M.D., Ph.D. / M.D. / D.O. degree, or equivalent.
  • Completion of an ACGME-approved fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology (or equivalent).
  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
  • Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, subspecialty certification in pediatric gastroenterology medicine (or eligible for same).
