### Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at SSM Health. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic medical radiographs to ensure proper diagnosis and quality patient care.

### Key Responsibilities

* Produce quality radiographs using appropriate exposure techniques
* Demonstrate proper use of metal markers and electronic marker placement
* Document patient history and pertinent patient information
* Verify physician orders prior to starting exams
* Perform OR/Surgery cases using C-arms and portable machines efficiently
* Supervise and teach Radiology students exams and procedures

### Safety and Infection Control

* Practice universal precautions and dispose of hazardous wastes per established guidelines
* Maintain a safe, clean, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients, families, and employees
* Report risk management concerns and complete all annual mandatory training

### Continuing Education

* Obtain 24 CE points every 2 years per ASRT regulation
* Maintain a good standing rating with the ASRT

### Service Excellence

* Provide timely, high-quality care in a courteous and respectful manner
* Demonstrate respect and compassion to internal and external customers, co-workers, and all others
* Follow hospital confidentiality policy at all times

### Performance Improvement

* Incorporate Quality Improvement into daily work
* Review departmental QI, QA, and QC monthly

### Requirements

* Graduate of a Radiology Technology program and registry eligible
* Two years Radiology Technology experience preferred
* Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
* ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

### Work Environment
