Position Overview

Join our team as a Multi-Blanking Line Technician, offering competitive pay of up to $25.00 per hour. In this role at Steel Technologies LLC, you will oversee the full operation of our advanced cut-to-length machinery. This position requires proficiency in interpreting operational guidelines and managing multiple tasks effectively.

Your Contributions:

  • Analyze operational guidelines to ascertain necessary machine adjustments and material specifications.
  • Operate the Multi-Blanking machinery to achieve precise slitting and cutting as per client specifications.
  • Monitor the quality of blanks to identify defects and ensure adherence to client standards and production protocols.
  • Make necessary adjustments to the MBL setup to produce high-quality blanks.
  • Prepare skids on the parts conveyor to maintain uninterrupted production flow.
  • Manage scrap removal and empty hoppers as required.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to diagnose equipment issues or perform preventive maintenance when needed.
  • Support packaging operations by banding materials according to client requirements.
  • Report any quality issues or non-compliance to the supervisor or shift lead.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the MBL work area.
