About the Department

The Department of Cultural and Behavioral Sciences is a dynamic and diverse community of scholars dedicated to teaching, research, and service. Our department offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs in psychology, sociology, anthropology, geography, education, social work, criminal justice, and homeland security.

Job Summary

The Limited-Term Instructor of Psychology will be responsible for teaching 18 semester hours of instruction per semester, maintaining at least 8 office hours per week, and working effectively with faculty, staff, and students. The selected candidate will also be responsible for connecting students with institutional resources to promote student success and progression.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology or a minimum of 18 semester hours in relevant coursework
  • Teaching experience required
  • Prior online teaching experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching a variety of undergraduate level Psychology courses
  • Ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods
  • Ability to relate to a diverse student population and facilitate student learning
