Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Travel CT Technologist to join our team at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and are ready to take on weekend assignments.

Certification Requirements
  • Essential Experience & Certifications: BLS, ARRT, IV Starts, PACS, Contrast
  • Additional Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, EFM, Tech Cert Verification, CEUs, State License 1 Verification, NIH Stroke Certification
Job Details
  • Schedule: WEEKEND BLOCK - Friday to Sunday
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 Year; first-time travelers are welcome
  • Competency: Proficient in Emergency Department, Inpatient, and Outpatient examinations
  • Responsibilities: Initiate IVs for CT scans, conduct basic creatinine tests using ISTAT equipment, and obtain patient consent for contrast studies
  • Technical Duties: Perform scanning, operate injectors, and assist in patient positioning for various imaging studies
  • System Familiarity: Expected to learn and utilize Epic and PACS systems
  • Flexibility: Must be willing to float between departments and work during 2 out of 3 major holidays if required
  • Compliance: Full compliance is mandatory to commence work; non-compliance may result in a delay of up to 2 weeks due to orientation scheduling

  • Minimum of 1 Year Experience
Schedule Information
  • Weekend Block: Friday to Sunday
  • Time Off: Maximum of 7 Days RTO
  • Holiday Work: Expected to work during 2 out of 3 major holidays if necessary
