Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced helicopter pilot to join our team at Air Evac Lifeteam. As a critical care transport pilot, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients in need of emergency medical care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies
  • Monitor weather conditions and forecast changes to ensure safe flight operations
  • Conduct pre-flight checks and report any discrepancies to maintenance
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner
  • Report any major malfunctions or incidents to the Operations Center
Requirements
  • 2000 hours total flight time
  • 1500 hours helicopter time
  • 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
  • 500 hours turbine
  • 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
  • Previous HEMS experience or equivalent preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year experience as a Pilot with a GMR company
Education and Credentials
  • Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter certificate
  • Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument rating
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Exhibits professionalism, is ethical, and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions
Other Requirements
  • 230 pound weight limit dressed in flight suit and boots
