We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced helicopter pilot to join our team at Air Evac Lifeteam. As a critical care transport pilot, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients in need of emergency medical care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies
- Monitor weather conditions and forecast changes to ensure safe flight operations
- Conduct pre-flight checks and report any discrepancies to maintenance
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner
- Report any major malfunctions or incidents to the Operations Center
- 2000 hours total flight time
- 1500 hours helicopter time
- 1000 hours helicopter pilot in command
- 500 hours turbine
- 100 hours night unaided or 50 hours unaided with 100 hours aided
- Previous HEMS experience or equivalent preferred
- One year experience as a Pilot with a GMR company
- Commercial Rotorcraft-Helicopter certificate
- Rotorcraft-Helicopter Instrument rating
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Exhibits professionalism, is ethical, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions
- 230 pound weight limit dressed in flight suit and boots
