About the Position

The OB/GYN Hospitalist Group at Saint Luke's Health System (Kansas City) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our team. As a key member of our hospitalist group, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our labor and delivery staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical resource and support to labor and delivery staff
  • Assess and triage patients, including those presenting through the emergency department
  • Care coordinate and provide coverage as needed for delivering OB groups, deliveries, and surgical procedures
  • Transfer high-risk patients to Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City as needed
  • Collaborate with sub-specialty teams, including MFM, anesthesia, neonatology, GYN/Oncology, and URO/GYN
  • Work rotating/flexible shifts, typically 7-9 shifts per month, including nights and weekends

Requirements:

  • BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology
  • Strong commitment to quality, safety, and patient satisfaction
