Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse with the Cherokee Nation, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals across the lifespan. This includes medical, surgical, pediatric, psychiatric, and obstetrical patients. You will be responsible for assessing patients' clinical conditions, formulating nursing diagnoses, and developing plans of care to meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' clinical conditions and identify areas for improvement
  • Formulate nursing diagnoses and develop plans of care to meet patients' needs
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Associate's degree from a 2-year college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (for non-Obstetrical Department staff)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (for Obstetrical Department staff)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
