We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Community Health Network. As a critical care nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients with complex and critical conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to a diverse population with a variety of diagnoses, including those requiring CVVH, ICP monitors, chest tubes, ventilators, and balloon pumps.
- Work collaboratively with a cohesive team environment to ensure seamless care delivery and patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs, preferences, and goals.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
- Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- At least 2 years of ICU experience REQUIRED.
- Excellent communication, team, and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and caring attitude, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
- Accountable and self-directed, with a strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
- EPIC experience is a plus.
