Job Summary

Perdue Farms is a leading provider of premium proteins, committed to changing the way animals are raised for food. We're seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with company, regulatory, and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards.
  • Conduct product reviews for compliance, including grading, packaging, and weights.
  • Perform and record quality checks on product and regulatory checks as specified within company programs and USDA regulations.
  • Inspect equipment for cleanliness and proper working condition prior to start up and record findings.

Requirements
  • High school or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years work experience.
  • Good communication and math skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

Work Environment
  • Exposure to wet and moist floors, temperatures, and humidity.
  • May handle product at various temperatures.
  • May be exposed to noise, dust, and chemicals.
