Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our team at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting in cardiac catheterization, vascular diagnostic, and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures, including emergency procedures associated with catheterization, such as IAB and temporary pacer insertion.
  • Perform vascular diagnostic and interventional procedures under the direction of a credentialed invasive cardiologist or radiologist.
  • Collect accurate data and participate in the patient's care in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Prioritize resources to patient care and diagnostic activities based on accurate patient information and staff capabilities.
Requirements
  • High school or GED required.
  • LPN with one year of experience in Critical Care or one year of Cath Lab experience or one year of RCIS or CVT or Graduate of accredited RCVT program.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
