Family Transitions Inc. is a leading provider of services for individuals with developmental disabilities, intellectual disorders, and mental illnesses. We are seeking a skilled Direct Service Professional to join our team in Petersburg, VA.
About the JobThis role involves providing support to individuals in their daily lives, including assistance with daily living activities, providing care as defined in individual service plans, and administering medication. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to analyze needs, and work effectively in a team environment.
**Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
- Provide care as defined in ISP (Individual Service Plan)
- Administer medication as necessary
- Transport individuals to activities
**Qualifications:** Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 1 year of experience working with adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities; valid driver's license and positive driving record; CPR and First Aid certification.
