Job Summary

The University of St. Thomas is seeking a seasoned nursing faculty member with expertise in Psych/Mental Health Nursing to join their School of Nursing. As a clinical faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching online courses, participating in curriculum development, and advising students.

Responsibilities
  • Teach online courses using the Blackboard course management system
  • Participate in curriculum development and revision
  • Oversight of multiple sections of course
  • Advising students
  • Develop, revise, and update curricula in collaboration with nursing faculty, practice partners, and students
  • Experience with simulation in a nursing laboratory
Requirements
  • PhD or DNP degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of BSN program teaching experience, including online format
  • Current licensure as RN in the state of Texas, or eligibility for licensure
  • Commitment to teaching excellence and integration of liberal arts education into professional education of nurses
  • Willingness to support the tenets of Catholic higher education as articulated in Ex Corde Ecclesiae
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with collaborative learning environments and teaching diverse student populations
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish
