Critical Care Nurse - Neuro ICU Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our Neuro ICU team. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will provide exceptional care to critically ill and neurologically injured patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

About the Role:

As a Critical Care Nurse on our Neuro ICU team, you will be responsible for assessing, implementing, and evaluating total nursing care for a group of patients. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements
  • Implement evidence-based nursing practices to improve patient outcomes and reduce complications
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Valid Texas RN License or Eligible Compact License
  • Maintain current BLS & ACLS certification from American Heart Association
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required or obtain within 3 years of hire
  • Maintain National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certificate NIHSS
  • CCRN Certification preferred

Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience
