Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Surgical Technologist II to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for assisting nursing personnel in providing quality care to patients in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing the operating room for surgical procedures, including setting up equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain a sterile field and take immediate action to correct any breaks in technique.
  • Pass instruments to the surgical team in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Assist with counts of all sponges, cottonoids, needles, vessels loops, umbilical tape, penrose drains, and other devices and instruments.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Scrub Tech in a Hospital Setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or related field.
