Shift: Day 10, 5x8 Hr Guaranteed Hours: 40.00

Experience: 2 years of experience in general and vascular ultrasound, excluding ABIs and segmental pressure. No echo or breast.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • ARDMS registry
  • BLS - American Heart Association

Key Responsibilities:

Ultrasound Procedures

Perform ultrasound procedures according to physicians' specifications to obtain desired imaging results.

Operate all ultrasound imaging and related equipment efficiently and effectively.

Educate, position, and immobilize patients as necessary to conduct ultrasound procedures effectively.

Coordinate ultrasound examinations to ensure timely, high-quality, and continuous patient care.

Communication and Teamwork

Maintain open, accurate, and responsive communication with patients, coworkers, radiologists, and leadership.

Utilize, charge, and maintain department supplies correctly.

Practice sterile techniques and adhere to infection prevention policies.

Manage multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

Safely perform ultrasound procedures, including patient transfer.

Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.

Demonstrate experience in using computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn relevant applications.
