Job Summary:

As a valued member of the LifeBridge Health team, we are seeking a skilled Nurse Tech to join our High Intensity Care Unit (HICU) team. In this role, you will provide safe and compassionate patient care, assisting with activities of daily living while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with total ADL care for patients on ventilators, including feeding, bathing, and toileting.
  • Perform vital signs, finger sticks, and other clinical tasks as ordered by the Registered Nurse.
  • Manage foley catheters, blood draws, and EKGs as needed.
  • Document patient care and vital signs with regular rounding.
  • Assist with managing fecal systems and changing colostomy bags.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in total care, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • GNA or CNA licensure and American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required.
