Position Overview: BBCH LLC is actively looking for a dedicated and experienced Federal Construction Project Manager. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional in the Federal Market Construction sector, demonstrating a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration within project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a project execution team of 3 to 4 members, overseeing the work performed by subcontractors.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of all phases of the construction process, ensuring effective supervision of multiple subcontractors.
- Bring at least ten (10) years of construction experience, with a minimum of five (5) years on projects valued at $5 million or more.
- Prior experience with US Navy, Air Force, or US Army Corps construction projects is highly desirable.
- Demonstrate mechanical expertise to support project needs.
Team Collaboration: The Project Manager will work closely with an onsite team, including a Project Manager, Quality Control Manager (QCM), and Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO). Strong teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
Core Duties:
- Coordinate, plan, and supervise subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Enforce site safety protocols and maintain contractor quality control.
- Provide daily supervision of subcontractors and monitor their production, schedules, and performance.
- Assist in the coordination of project aspects as directed by the Project Managers.
- Conduct safety audits and support contractor quality control measures at construction sites.
- Manage subcontractor access and ensure timely completion of work while addressing warranty issues.
- Communicate project status updates to the Project Manager to maintain alignment with BBCH standards.
Compliance and Safety: Uphold 100% compliance with all mandatory and regulatory requirements, including safety standards. Actively participate in safety meetings and address any potential safety concerns promptly.
Training and Qualifications:
- OSHA 30 Certification
- USACE CQM Certification
- CPR and First Aid training and certification
- Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain security access and pass a drug test.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
