The Internal Travel Registered Nurses play a crucial role in providing staffing assistance to Hospice locations throughout our organization, addressing temporary staffing requirements as identified by regional and corporate leadership.

Key Responsibilities
• Travel to various Hospice agencies as assigned by leadership to provide essential staffing support.
• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing comprehensive evaluations of patients and their families.
• Develop and initiate patient care plans, reassessing as necessary.
• Utilize health assessment data to formulate nursing diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments as outlined in the physician's care plan.
• Provide counseling to patients and families to address nursing and related needs.
• Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and participate in interdisciplinary meetings to address the medical and emotional needs of patients and their families/caregivers.
• Ensure adherence to all state and federal legal and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
• Degree from an accredited nursing institution with a valid license to practice in your state of residence.
• Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) License.
• Willingness to obtain additional state nursing licenses in non-compact states as required by leadership.
• Minimum of two years of experience in Hospice nursing.
