Job Title: Cardiac Tele Nurse

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Tele Nurse to join our team at Inova Fairfax Hospital. As a Cardiac Tele Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Cardiac Tele South Unit, which is a dedicated vascular surgery unit and cardiac medicine unit.

Responsibilities:

* Provide direct patient care to patients with pre and post vascular surgery, pre and post cardiac procedures, congestive heart failure, dysrhythmias, and general cardiac disorders.

* Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

* Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop and implement plans to meet those needs.

* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to treatment.

* Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.

* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

* At least one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.

* BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.

* RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.

Education:

* BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within five years of start date.
