Job Title: Data Quality Engineer

Location: Preferably KC (if not, will have to travel to KC as needed)

Type: Long-term Contract

Job Summary:

As a Data Quality Engineer at TechnoGen, you will work closely with the P&C Analytics group to understand the current data validation solution and business scenarios. Your primary responsibility will be to make enhancements as directed by the Core broking business team in collaboration with data services and other app teams. You will design and develop tools and enhancements for data quality monitoring across systems, ensuring that data is accurate, complete, and consistent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business scenarios, rules, and processes to identify data quality requirements and failure points.

• Collaborate with delivery and operations teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.

• Develop effective dashboards and backend quality checks to monitor data quality in real-time.

• Work with end-users to translate business needs into technical solutions that meet their requirements.

Technical Requirements:

• Expert-level knowledge of PowerBI and Azure data engineering (ADF, Databricks, Synapse, ADLS, SQL, LogicApps, PowerShell).

• Familiarity with DevOps tools (ADO, App Insight, Portal, Mulesoft, Salesforce).

• Ability to develop and maintain centralized monitoring systems using Azure-based tools.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms to non-technical stakeholders.

• Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to drive results through influence and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Master's degree preferred.

• Certifications in technical areas preferred.
