Job Title: Electrical Foreman

GlobaLogix, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to join our team in Abilene, Texas. As an Electrical Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of electricians, planning and laying out wiring diagrams, and monitoring the progress of projects to ensure they stay on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of electricians
  • Plan and layout wiring diagrams, conduit systems, and electrical panel locations
  • Monitor the progress of projects to ensure they stay on schedule and within budget
  • Troubleshoot electrical problems and diagnose issues
  • Train and mentor electricians in safety protocols and job skills
  • Ensure that all materials and equipment are available for projects
  • Provide supervision and coordinate activities for design and inspection of all construction projects
  • Implement and administer company policies and procedures as delegated by management
  • Ensure plans and performance of various functions within the construction department
  • Supervise daily activities of crews and or contractors and schedules inspection requirements for field construction projects
  • Assist in assembling required project documents such as specifications, drawings, and other business documents related to field work
  • Coordinate and perform tasks involved with pre-project planning such as required construction documents and material procurement
  • Assemble and review construction documentation required for the permanent construction file
  • Communicate with construction crews and contractors regarding issues including safety performance, project scheduling, QA/QC
  • Perform typical responsibilities of a supervisor requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and coaching field employees, crews, and contractors
  • Review work to ensure competency in meeting stated goals and objectives
  • Ensure projects are completed to quality, schedule, cost requirements, and specifications
  • Ensure the development of subordinate staff by maintaining competent levels of training
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Texas Journeyman License
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical installation and wiring
  • Proven experience in a lead or supervisory role
  • Working knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
  • Able to interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

GlobaLogix provides a drug-free workplace and requires participation in its drug testing program. This includes a pre-employment drug screen.
