Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic team at Day Kimball Healthcare. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a vital role in performing a variety of technical procedures and applying prescribed radionuclides for diagnosis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform Nuclear Medicine exams such as cardiac SPECT and other invasive procedures
  • Prepare radioactive tracer compounds for patient use
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients in appropriate dosages
  • Explain procedures to patients and instruct them in assuming physical positions for exams
  • Follow NRC guidelines for documentation, safety, and approved protocols
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a formal Nuclear Medicine training program
  • Certification or registration in Nuclear Medicine by the ARRTN or CNMT
  • Minimum of 1-year practical experience performing related duties in Nuclear Medicine
