Job Description

Job Summary:

BCForward is seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities operations and maintenance division, you will be responsible for a combination of administrative and warehouse duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Process requests and supply orders, and distribute material/supplies to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare and place orders in pickup area, and sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins.
  • Maintain inventory controls, record amounts of materials or items received or distributed, conduct cycle-counts, and physical inventories.
  • Reconcile purchases and maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
  • Operate a variety of standard office equipment, including a computer, computer software, telephone, and 10-key calculator.
  • Express ideas clearly in writing in the English language and work within established policies and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Two years of responsible clerical work experience, which provides the ability to maintain a variety of records, perform basic mathematical computations, order and dispense supplies and materials.
  • Experience with Gmail, G-Suite applications, or Microsoft Office applications.
  • Purchasing and data entry skills.
  • Providing customer service to employees, management, and outside entities.
