Job Summary

KPC Healthcare, INC. is seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Department of Radiology. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the provision of safe and effective care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of patient vital signs, medical history, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on radiology procedures and aftercare.
  • Insert and remove intravenous lines, administer medications, and monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.
  • Oversee the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current CA RN license.
  • Current Healthcare provider CPR certificate.
  • Current ACLS, Current PALS, TNCC highly desirable.
  • At least 1 year previous experience in a critical care setting required.
  • Special procedures experience highly desirable.
  • PICC certification highly desirable.
