Therapy 2000, a leading provider of pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a vital member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families in our community.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations to determine patients' needs for therapy.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders.
- Collaborate with patients' caregivers to develop home exercise programs.
- Act as a key member of patients' medical neighborhoods, coordinating care with various providers and disciplines.
- Meet deadlines for completing patient chart updates, progress summaries, and other paperwork as required.
- Participate in regular meetings with agency personnel to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
- A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
- An innovative spirit and a demonstrated history of reliability.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and needs of the business.
- Ability to use common workplace technology, including laptops, phones, email, and web browsers.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) language skills.
- 3+ years of experience as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience in a home health setting.
- Certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.).
