POSITION SUMMARY

The Warehouse Receiving Coordinator will assist warehouse staff with the scheduling, documentation, transportation, and storage of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Verify purchase orders against packing slips.
  • Inspect incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy with packing lists.
  • Receive and acknowledge deliveries.
  • Unload deliveries from transportation vehicles.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing for vendor returns, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and sent with the correct carrier.
  • Organize and store received materials in designated areas.
  • Update inventory records to reflect received items.
  • Maintain documentation of orders, items sent for outsourcing, and delivery information.
  • Transfer inventory to appropriate vendors for outsourced work.
  • Collaborate with Production Control to arrange for WIP shipments to outsourcing as necessary.
  • Create and process invoices.
  • Schedule transportation for shipping finished goods as required.
  • Generate internal documentation for parts transferred to the main facility.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

Proficient in general computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Strong verbal and written communication skills along with excellent organizational abilities.

Familiarity with data entry and inventory management software.

Experience operating forklifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous warehouse experience is preferred.

Intermediate skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic are required, typically obtained through a high school diploma or equivalent, or a two-year degree program.


Compensation: $21-$23 per hour
