Community Services Counseling Overview

The Community Services Counseling division operates under the Kentucky United Methodist Children's Homes, dedicated to providing support and healing for children and families by addressing their comprehensive needs—physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual.

This organization specializes in outpatient therapy and school-based counseling, ensuring accessible mental health services.

Position Title: Contract Community Services Clinician

  • Deliver therapeutic behavioral health interventions to children and families
  • Engage with community stakeholders in a collaborative, multidisciplinary framework
  • Travel within designated service regions as required

Compensation: $45 per billable hour

  • Contractual employment status with 1099 reporting at year-end
  • Responsibilities encompass crisis management, treatment planning, educational support, and therapeutic services
  • Maintain active licensure and certification in the field

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or Social Work
  • Current Professional License as mandated by Kentucky regulatory boards
  • At least 2 years of pertinent experience in the field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to the agency's mission and appreciation for cultural diversity
