About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at AnthroMed Education. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality speech services to students in schools throughout Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne County.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech-language abilities to identify strengths and areas of need.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' speech and language goals.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, including assessment, treatment, and progress monitoring.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology, and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Current Michigan state license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience: Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a special education setting.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of special education laws and procedures, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
