Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Echo Technologist to join our team at MUSC Health - Florence. As an Echo Technologist, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other diagnostic imaging procedures to help diagnose and treat patients with heart and vascular conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic imaging procedures to help diagnose and treat patients with heart and vascular conditions.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment to ensure high-quality images and efficient procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication to ensure a positive experience.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in diagnostic imaging or a related field.
  • National certifications in BLS, ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS, RCCS) - registered with ARDMS or CCI.
  • Radiation badge - provided by the agency; MUSC does not provide radiation badges to travelers.
Work Schedule

4x10s (7a-5p) - weekends and holidays included. On-call requirements: at least 1 weekend a month and 1-3 days a week depending on if you're on call that weekend. Must be able to respond to call and be at the facility within 30 minutes. Weekend requirements: at least 1 weekend a month.

Additional Information
  • Open to accommodating block schedule - requires manager's approval upon request. Dependent on unit's needs.
  • Local radius: 60-mile radius.
  • Locals accepted: no, locals not accepted.
  • RTO restrictions for client offers: all RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs.
  • Guaranteed hours: facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
