Cornerstone Custom Construction is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our growing team. We are a well-established, reputable full-service Concrete and Carpentry company specializing in Residential & Light Commercial construction in the Twin Cities area.

As a Lead Carpenter, you will play a vital role in our production process, focusing on SIPs, ICF, and traditional framing – all rough carpentry. This is a hands-on position that requires both technical expertise and strong leadership qualities.

Responsibilities:
  • Execute high-quality rough carpentry work, including framing, sheathing, and installation of structural components.
  • Lead and mentor a team of carpenters, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Effectively communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop and maintain accurate schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Proactively identify and address potential issues or challenges on the job site.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Lead Carpenter with a strong understanding of building codes and construction practices.
  • Expertise in SIPs, ICF, and traditional framing techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with carpentry tools and equipment.
