Salary and Benefits

The hourly rate for this position is $54.00, with a 5% increase after 6 months. Additionally, employees receive weekly pay, housing stipends, and overtime opportunities. We also offer 100% paid health benefits to our employees.

Job Description

As a Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT), you will be responsible for providing basic general nursing care to mentally or developmentally disabled patients. This includes conducting daily clinical rounds and monitoring patients with signs and symptoms of mental illness.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Medical Doctor (MD).
  • Take and chart vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration.
  • Perform other basic general nursing procedures within the scope of licensure.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
  • 1 year of experience as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) preferred.
  • Current and active LPT license required.
