Pawcatuck Companion ILST

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Companion ILST to join our team. As a Companion ILST, you will work closely with our clients to provide support with daily living activities, ensure their safety and well-being, and promote their independence.

• Provide companionship and support to clients with disabilities
• Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation
• Ensure client safety and well-being by monitoring their environment and responding to emergencies
• Support clients with scheduling, attending, and reporting on medical and therapeutic appointments
• Assist with shopping, cooking, and cleaning with the client
• Encourage regular exercise, socialization, and entertainment

• High school or GED equivalent
• Two years (preferred) experience working with disabilities, but not required
• Driver's License required | reliable transportation | proof of insurance
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Provide a letter from a person or employer verifying your field experience
