Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Integrated Resources. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their newborns. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to expectant mothers and their newborns, including assessing and evaluating patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement evidence-based practices that promote high-quality patient care and improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote safe and effective patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, including teaching them about their care plans, medication management, and post-discharge instructions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs and materials for patients, families, and healthcare staff.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of New York.
  • 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing.
  • ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications.
  • EPIC experience highly preferred.
  • Ability to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
