Cardiac Sonographer

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer for a role in Temple, Texas. This position offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Cardiac Sonographer in the heart of Texas. As a key member of our echocardiography department, you will be responsible for performing advanced cardiac ultrasound services and procedures for adult patients. Your expertise will help diagnose and assess cardiac abnormalities, ensuring accurate and high-quality results.

• Prepare patients for procedures: Adapt imaging techniques to obtain comprehensive and diagnostic echocardiograms.
• Perform advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures: Utilize various equipment and techniques to make necessary measurements for accurate interpretation.
• Identify and define cardiac abnormalities: Extend the scope of examinations appropriately, deviating from standard techniques when necessary.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

• Knowledge of complex sonographic principles, instrumentation, and techniques
• Ability to explain echocardiographic examination purposes to patients
• Familiarity with approved clinical protocols for cardiovascular ultrasound examinations
