- Build and design custom production equipment using off-the-shelf pieces.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and ensure proper operation before job completion.
- Assist in cleaning up facilities and disposing of parts or equipment properly.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintain stock of materials and equipment needed for production or maintenance.
- Install, program, and troubleshoot PLC-controlled automation, camera, and robotic systems.
- Minimum of three years' experience in maintenance and repair of equipment.
- 2-year technical degree from a community college or a 4-year engineering degree in Industrial Engineering or related field preferred.
- Proficient in using required tools, reading blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including PLCs.
- Experience with robotics and automation programming.
- Strong attention to detail and care to prevent damage to complex machines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
