Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with production and manufacturing leaders to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement repairs.
  • Work with the design team and engineers to install or replace machines and parts according to specifications.
  • Build and design custom production equipment using off-the-shelf pieces.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and ensure proper operation before job completion.
  • Assist in cleaning up facilities and disposing of parts or equipment properly.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain stock of materials and equipment needed for production or maintenance.
  • Install, program, and troubleshoot PLC-controlled automation, camera, and robotic systems.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three years' experience in maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • 2-year technical degree from a community college or a 4-year engineering degree in Industrial Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Proficient in using required tools, reading blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, including PLCs.
  • Experience with robotics and automation programming.
  • Strong attention to detail and care to prevent damage to complex machines.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good attendance and dependability.
