Position Overview

Abacus Technology Corporation is in search of a Project Schedule Engineer to create and sustain comprehensive project timelines for various initiatives within the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate. This role is a full-time opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, organize, and oversee the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS). Facilitate communication and coordination of IMS tasks across different functional areas within the Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Deliver IMS technical documentation, including GANTT charts and network diagrams.
  • Provide integrated schedule management support for system acquisition processes, ensuring alignment with critical schedule requirements for mission success.
  • Assist in the development of requirements, preparation of plans, and evaluation of the capability to meet objectives.
  • Effectively communicate schedule goals, strategies, and progress to stakeholders, including customers, project teams, and management.
  • Implement corrective measures as needed to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

Requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in project support and scheduling, with at least 3 years dedicated to Department of Defense (DoD) programs. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, although additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Must possess advanced proficiency with scheduling software, particularly Microsoft Project. Familiarity with various contract types, including Cost Plus, Time and Material (T&M), and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with all organizational levels. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in resolving issues as they arise. U.S. citizenship and a current Secret clearance are mandatory.
