Quality Assurance Specialist (Electrical)

Role Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist will oversee specific tasks or projects related to the assessment of incoming and outgoing products or materials for Creative Employment Solutions. In this position, you will adhere to a structured work plan, achieve daily short-term goals, and address challenges through prompt action or strategic planning. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting evaluations, measurements, and supervising production workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertly inspect all phases including incoming, in-process, and final evaluations for all product categories.
  • Disqualify any products and materials that do not meet established quality standards.
  • Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to grasp the requirements of products and services.
  • Possess knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and assist with documentation control.
  • Create reports analyzing prevalent defect trends from both internal and external sources.
  • Measure product dimensions, assess functionality, and compare the final output to the specifications.
  • Conduct incoming inspections on selected and designated products.
  • Utilize measuring instruments accurately to ensure precise product measurements.
  • Address quality-related challenges promptly.
  • Document and report on incoming inspections of critical or identified components.
  • Support the preparation, scheduling, and execution of internal quality audits.
  • Report any incidents or injuries occurring during work.
  • Notify management of any product concerns that may impact functionality.
  • Lead additional projects or activities as assigned by management based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in inspection processes within the manufacturing sector with a strong emphasis on quality.
  • Ability to operate with minimal oversight.
  • Familiarity with Internal Quality Auditing for ISO 9001:2015.
  • Strong skills in data collection and analysis.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in a dynamic environment.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Proven oral and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capability to utilize measuring devices effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities.
