The Indirect Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the acquisition of essential goods and services for the designated project within the business unit. This role encompasses overseeing contract processes, collecting data, and ensuring prompt approvals.

JOB DUTIES

  • Contract Process Oversight:
    • Managing the contracting procedures for corporate stakeholders in accordance with organizational goals to optimize costs. Ensuring timely completion of contracts and collaborating with stakeholders on deadlines.
  • Project Management Support:
    • Assisting with procurement, sourcing, and providing support for team projects as necessary to balance workloads.
  • RFP/RFQ Documentation Management:
    • Collecting necessary documentation and data sources, distributing to suppliers, facilitating Requests for Proposals and Contracts, and assessing submissions.
  • Business Case Data Support:
    • Conducting spend analysis, market research, and formulating business cases aimed at achieving cost efficiencies.
  • Internal Team Collaboration:
    • Delivering data to support informed decision-making, crafting agreements in partnership with legal, and assisting with vendor information updates.
  • Vendor Accounting and Accounts Payable Collaboration:
    • Working alongside accounting to establish payment terms and facilitate new vendor setups to ensure effective communication.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.

Experience: 2-4 years in procurement and/or contracting roles.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Exceptional analytical, communication, organizational, and time management capabilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously with meticulous attention to detail and manage financial information confidentially.
  • Strong negotiation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Solid financial understanding and familiarity with SAP and Coupa is advantageous.
