Crane Operator Job Description

Edwards, Inc. is a leading industrial general contractor providing comprehensive construction, fabrication, and crane services. We operate a large fleet of road-ready hydraulic cranes in eastern North Carolina and South Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate cranes safely and efficiently in accordance with job site requirements.
  • Assist in setting up cranes and conducting daily safety checks.
  • Monitor crane stability and load weights, making minor repairs as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Class A CDL License
  • Clean Driving Record
  • NCCCO Certification
  • Minimum one year of verifiable operating experience
  • Excellent communication and safety skills
