Bank Teller

The Bank Teller is responsible for accurately processing a variety of financial transactions while providing exceptional customer service via phone, drive-up window, or bank lobby.

• Process financial transactions, including check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, night depository bags, and cashier's checks.
• Verify cash and endorsements, receive proper identification, and identify counterfeit currency.
• Manage cash drawer, balance daily, remain within drawer cash limits, keep drawer secure at all times, and report any discrepancies to supervisor.
• Balance ATM and maintain a high level of customer service.
• Respond to basic customer inquiries and customer account inquiries, perform debit card and stop payment administration, and provide account maintenance as required.
• Support overall branch sales efforts by cross-selling bank products and services and referring customers to the appropriate department for service.
• Process daily mail and monthly statements.
• Understand and comply with related laws and compliance regulations that pertain to teller duties.
• Demonstrate appropriate interpersonal communication skills with customers, coworkers, and outside vendors.
• Follow all Unison Bank policies and procedures.

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 6 months to 2 years of related experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Cash handling experience preferred.

This is a full-time position in a professional office environment. The employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position, handle cash and other documents, and operate a computer and keyboard.
